My Logistics Baddie Travel Essentials

By Autumn · August 28, 2026 · 7 min read
Full flat lay of everything packed for this trip: duffle bag, safety vest, work gloves, clothing, self-care, and content gear

Preparing for this trip looked a little different. I knew I’d be working, traveling, creating content, and spending a lot of time on the road, so I wanted to be intentional about what came with me. I wasn’t interested in packing a bunch of things just because they were cute — everything needed to make life on the road easier. And yes, it still needed to give Logistics Baddie. 💌

Work essentials. Easy-wash basics. Stay-fresh products. A little beauty. Everything in this bag has a purpose — here’s the actual haul.

The road uniform: wash, dry, back in rotation

One thing I thought about before buying clothes for this trip was laundry. When you’re moving around, staying in hotels, and living out of bags, complicated clothing care doesn’t make sense. So I specifically looked for easy, machine-washable pieces — including my bras. Fitted tees, oversized tees, leggings, biker shorts, a one-piece, slouch socks, flip flops. Simple. Comfortable. Easy to pack, easy to wash, easy to wear again.

If I can’t easily wash it while I’m on the road, I probably don’t need to bring it.

Work mode: because underneath all the cute stuff...

...there’s still freight to move. 😂 My trip prep also included the things I actually need while working — a safety vest, work gloves, a phone mount, and a duffle big enough to hold all of it and still close. The goal wasn’t to pack my entire life. It was to have what I needed to get the job done safely and comfortably without carrying around a bunch of unnecessary stuff. Cute plus functional beats cute for no reason, every time.

Stay fresh

Let’s talk about the part nobody makes aesthetic. You’re working, you’re moving around, you’re getting in and out of a vehicle. It gets hot. You sweat. 😂 So staying fresh was absolutely part of my trip prep — dusting powder to help minimize it, individually wrapped deodorant wipes for a quick freshen-up, deodorant, and clean socks. Because sometimes the freshen-up has to happen wherever you are. And after a long day? The flip flops are coming out.

Being prepared isn’t only about having the right work equipment. I want to be comfortable too.

Baddie maintenance

Of course the bag wasn’t going to be completely practical. Let’s be serious. Lip oil. Eye masks. A couple beauty products. Cute toiletry bags so I’m not digging through one big pile for a toothbrush. There’s something about being able to shower after a long day, put on clean clothes, do your skincare, and feel like yourself again. Work mode doesn’t have to become your entire identity.

Cute, comfortable, and practical.
That’s the only combo that survives a 90-day run.

The Baddie takeaway

Being a Logistics Baddie isn’t about pretending life on the road is glamorous. It’s about understanding what the lifestyle requires and preparing accordingly — clothes I can wash, products that help me stay fresh, gear that helps me work, something comfortable to change into, and yes, I’m still bringing my lip oil. 😂💌 Practical doesn’t mean giving up the parts of yourself that make you feel like you.

This bag gets repacked every single trip, and it’ll keep evolving as I figure out what actually earns a spot versus what just sounded good in the store. For the women who keep things moving — that’s the whole point of this edit.
